I've been having a lot of fun mixing patterns lately. I've never been one to shy away from the bold and this is a simple way of pushing boundaries a bit. I have a puppy play date this afternoon and then a short shift at work tonight. I hope you all have an expressive weekend!

Gunn & Swain

 Summertime is the best time. Sunshine days and lightning bug nights. It just doesn't get much better than that. This year has been a bit of a curve ball, but I'm feeling incredibly grateful for the people in my life and the connections I've made and that is making this summer that much sweeter. On another note, I recently impulse bought this blanket from Gunn & Swain. I couldn't resist the colors! It's the perfect blanket for picnics and cloud watching.

Starstruck

I wore this to see Vance Joy in concert the other day. He was so good! There was this one particular moment during his last song that was really special. He stopped singing and the entire crowd sang his chorus back to him and his smile was priceless. It was a good moment. I'm glad I got to be a part of it.

 Captions are fun. I wore this to work yesterday. Kinda menswearish with girly details. Totally comfortable and a pretty good representation of my favorite things to wear. I am entirely too excited about the zippers on these pants. Secret: The floral top is actually a crop top. Don't tell anyone ;)
