Spud Fail

I found the idea for these potatoes here. Let me just say, not impressed. I mean, it's a baked potato. And it's pretty. But, it's a potato. A potato alone does not an OMG reaction make. You gotta put stuff in a baked potato! Pinterest is bad like this sometimes. It gets me all fired up, thinking I'm the next Emeril Lagasse, making pure kitchen magic. BAM! But, when it's all said and done, it's still just a baked potato that took almost an hour to bake in the oven. Who has that kind of patience for a sub-awesome potato experience? Give me french fries any day of the week. I didn't have the kitchen wizardry to make these sing. I probably needed bacon. Next time.
