All Photos Are From Pinterest
Is anyone else shocked that it is somehow November 1st?
I'm not sure how we got to this point considering I'm still somewhat
in denial that Summer is over. I know I'm way behind,
but Fall is just starting to sink in for me.
I've always loved November. Of the cold months, it is probably my favorite.
Between Thanksgiving, my birthday, my brother's birthday, all the
days off, the crisp air, the perfect apples, the crunchy leaves, the cozy layers,
the slow mornings, and hot chocolate weather....it's a good time to be alive
and a good time for giving thanks.
Welcome, November.

White Washed

For someone who is pretty driven by bright and bold colors (my room is lime green and blue with a rainbow of accents) I've been really drawn to white washed spaces lately. I love how clean the white looks, plus it allows for limitless design options and makes any plant life pop. I like the idea of doing white rooms with bold, unexpected accents, like brightly colored furniture or a crazy patterned rug.

Fall Shoe Shopping

1//2//3//4//5//6//7//8

Younger me would be kicking myself right now. Talking about Fall shoe shopping? In August? Whatsamattawitchuuuu?? There's still over a month of glorious summer days to be had! But older me works in retail and has a blog so August means Fall fashion is running rampant. Whether we like it or not. And shoes make me happy all the time so why not use it as an excuse to online window shop? And when I say shoes, I strictly mean sneakers and boots. It's an ongoing love affair. Apparently I'm feelin the red, purple, and brown. Absolutely obsessed with the red woven boots and I only need purple to complete my sneaker rainbow so I'm on the lookout for the perfect pair. #2 speaks to me. What shoes are you looking at for Fall?

A Year In Review: Style

Tomorrow is Brave Felicity's first birthday! I can't believe I've already been blogging for a whole year. This humble little space of mine has come a longggg way since when I started last June. I still have a lot to learn, but my photography has improved (at least a bit), I can manage my own basic design and html, and this is still a fun space to experiment with and share whatever I please. So Brave Felicity, if you don't mind, I think I shall stick with you for awhile! :)
I thought it'd be fun to recap some of the main themes of the blog this week, a sort of year in review if you will. Above is an amalgamation of most of my outfit posts. You can find a more comprehensive list scrolling through here.

Simple Saturday// Picture Wall

I've been so inspired by picture walls lately, I wanted to create my own. Plus, it finally gave me an excuse to print some pictures which I've been meaning to do for ages. There's no real way to enjoy all of my photos when they're just chilling in files on my computer so this was the perfect project to get some out in the open. I signed up for Snapfish and got my first 50 photos printed for free. I got a mix of my own photos and some inspiring images and quotes from Pinterest. The idea is to create a visually appealing and inspiring collage. Here are some picture walls that have me swooning.

I used mostly small photos and one print that I made on my computer. I ended up putting the collage on my door because as it turns out my walls are so covered in posters, artwork, and magazine clippings already that there really isn't any substantial amount of room for a new picture wall. When I eventually have my own home/apartment I'll probably expand on this idea, but this is what I came up with for my current living situation.

Please excuse the poor quality of the last photos. I used my phone and I guess I was a bit shaky, but you get the idea. Do you have a picture wall? I would love to see photos!
